Mission Statement

Insurtec's mission is to provide the tanning industry with affordable, friendly insurance coverage. We are big supporters of the tanning industry, including ITA membership and contributing to the Berman & Company campaign. We believe in simple applications, quick quotations and developing a personal relationship with each of our clients. Through these beliefs, we have been able to give our clients a more personal experience and take the confusion out of purchasing insurance.

Company Overview

Insurtec offers a package of coverage to salon owners that covers professional and premises liability with optional property coverage. We were formed in 1995 with the purpose of offering insurance coverage to tanning salons in the US. We were the first in the industry to offer tanning insurance on an occurrence form, replacing the inadequate claims-made form. Since 1995, we have expanded to offer coverage to esthetician's, day spas, suppliers, manufacturers and more. We are located in Missouri, about 75 miles south of Kansas City.

Product Review

Our core product is our tanning salon insurance and day spa package. The Insurtec salon insurance policy is written on an occurrence form with no cancer exclusion and no liability deductible. In addition to professional coverage, Insurtec policies include products, premises and personal injury liability with optional property coverage. We also offer discounts for safety certification, management experience, burglar alarm and sprinkler systems.
