ITA Show 2008

Insurtec recently attended the ITA World Tanning Expo in Nashville, Tennessee. The ITA show is held every year at the Opryland Resort and Convention Center and is the largest tanning trade show in North America. Attendance at our booth was up from 2007 and many of our customers stopped by to guess how much they thought was in our money jar. We have been giving away money at each show since 2002 and it never fails to attract a crowd. This year we gave away a jar full of money and also had four random $100 winners. As an ITA member company, we were also a show sponsor. We had a total of five prize winners with our grand prize winner taking home over $850 in cash. Everyone who entered had a chance to guess how much they thought was in the jar. The guess closest to the actual amount won the money.

This show's winner was Kelli Millraney of Sunshine Shack in Tullahoma, TN. Her guess of $864.19 was only $.64 off the actual amount of $864.83. Congratulations to Kelli!

Upcoming Shows

Insurtec will be attending several shows in the upcoming months.

First up is the ITA Tanning World Expo in Nashville. The show takes place September 18-21st at the Opryland Resort and Convention Center. We are a sponsor of the Treasure Hunt at the show and will also be giving away cash prizes at our booth, #314.

We will also be attending two shows by JK North America. The first show will be in Chicago on October 9th and 10th. It is hosted by Tan Marketing. The second show will be hosted by Forever Tan and is set in Orlando on November 8th and 9th.

 

After these three shows, we will be attending a show hosted by Heartland Tanning in Fort Worth, Texas, the Heartland Tanning Southwest Expo.

Heartland Midwest Symposium

Heartland Tanning held their annual symposium in Lee's Summit at their corporate headquarters on February 1st and 2nd. The first day was for Smart Tan certification with the second day filled with vendor presentations and a trade show. A BBQ lunch was catered and attendance was high. We gave away $100 gift certificates to four lucky attendees valid for Heartland products.

Our winners were Kylie Stoltenberg, Myrtle Walker, Lori Billenwillms and Tammy Rivers.

2008 Southeastern Tanning Expo

With over 1,000 attendees from over 350 salons, the 2008 Southeastern Tanning Expo was the biggest ever. Sponsored by American Sun Systems and Forever Tan, the show was held in Winston-Salem, North Carolina at the MC Benton Convention Center. The show had around 25 exhibitors and was held February 1st through the 3rd. We were there and gave away two $100 gift certificates for either American Suns Systems or Forever Tan. Our two winners where Kristy Kopp, owner of Kopp A Tan in Southport, North Carolina and Kimberly Cox of Endless Summer in Burlington, North Carolina. Congratulations!

Northeast Tanning Expo 2008

Over 500 attendees were there for Future Industries Northeast Tanning Expo. The expo was held on January 20th and featured around 20 exhibitors with an Italian catered lunch. Brian Daniello and Pam Zerber won prizes at our booth.

Insurtec Attends Heartland Southwest Expo 2007

More than 350 salon owners attended the Heartland Tanning Southwest Expo in Fort Worth, TX on November 16th and 17th. The expo featured a day of "Smart Tan" training provided by Heartland staffer and certified trainer Gary Meunier.

Attendees had access to many of the industry's top vendors throughout the day while also attending presentations on new products and valuable sales tips. Everyone who stopped by our booth received a free coffee travel mug.

ITA Show 2007

Another well attended ITA World Tanning Expo is in the books and we would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth and entered our cash giveaway. The ITA show is held every year at the Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. It is the largest North American tanning trade show. We gave away over $1,500 in cash and also were one of the sponsors of the show's treasure hunt. We had a total of five prize winners with our grand prize winner taking home over $1,100 in cash. Our grand prize was a jar of money. Everyone who entered had a chance to guess how much they thought was in the jar. The guess closest to the actual amount won the money.

This show's winner was Steve Jones of 41st Street Tanning Company in Springfield, Ohio. His guess of $1,105 was only $2.55 off the actual amount of $1,102.45. Congratulations to Steve! (Above, Steve, on the right, is shown with his cash and Insurtec representative Chris Beshore)

Northeast Tanning Expo

Over 400 salon owners attended the Future Industries Northeast Tanning Expo on January 21, 2007. The event as held at the Marriott Hotel in Trumbull, CT and is Future Industries annual show. Insurtec representative Natalea Hoeper and several other vendors gave presentations throughout the day. Future Industries also provided a continental breakfast and a wonderful Italian lunch.

Insurtec Attends the Midwest Tanning Expo

On January 13th, National Tanning Supply (NTS) hosted the Midwest Tanning Expo in Springfield, Illinois. Insurtec representatives Natalea Hoeper and Terry Hoeper were on hand along with over 350 attendees. The attendance was exceptional considering the cold, icy weather that covered most of the region.

In addition to the show floor, there were vendor presentations and many giveaways. The main giveaway was a tanning bed from NTS. Breakfast and lunch were also served. NTS features ETS beds and has a great selection of all the supplies your salon may need.
